We are pleased to announce that we are now offering two more herbs - Holy Basil and Valerian.
Holy Basil is popularly known as Tulasi in India where it is worshipped as a sacred plant. Tulasi in Sanskrit literally means "the incomparable one". Tulasi leaves are used as a household remedy for a variety of ailments and its properties make it a very important ingredient in various Ayurvedic formulations. In fact Tulasi has been mentioned in several ancient Ayurvedic texts.
The most important benefits offered by Holy Basil are for relieving respiratory disorders, coughs and colds, stress, inflammation and pain of arthritis, eye disorders and heart problems.

Valerian also known as Tagara in Sanskrit has been famous in both Eastern and Western cultures for its ability to calm a person and provide sound sleep.
Typically used for sleep disorders, anxiety and panic attacks, Valerian is a safe, non-habit forming herb. In fact Valerian is ideal for weaning patients off benzodiazepine drugs
Valerian also helps to relax muscles and is very useful in relieving muscle pain and shoulder and neck pain.
